Mathew Bate
Mathew joined Private Capital in 2012, specialising in investments and holistic financial planning needs for high-net-worth individuals, charities/foundations and trusts. He has over 16 years’ investment and asset management experience, starting his career in 2002 with De Putron Fund Management a boutique hedge fund in London, before joining AllianceBernstein, a top tier global asset manager, in 2005.
Mathew is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and holds the highly acclaimed Chartered Wealth Manager qualification (Level 7), along with the Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice and Management (Level 6), the UK benchmark entry-level Investment Advice Diploma (Level 4) and Investment Management Certificate (IMC) qualifications. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute and is a Responsible Officer for our Type 4 and 9 Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) licenses.
